CHS offers the following North Carolina contract adoption services*:

  • Pre-Placement Assessment (Home Study)
  • Pre-Placement Assessment Updates
  • Post-Placement Visits and Reports
  • Finalization of Domestic Adoptions in North Carolina

*CHS does not currently provide services for stepparent or relative adoptions.

Our contract services are available for individuals and families who need a North Carolina licensed adoption agency for:

  • Domestic adoptions through an out-of-state agency or consultant
  • Adoptions arranged through an attorney in North Carolina or another state
