Substance Abuse Through the Lens of Trauma

Participants will gain an understanding of how trauma creates vulnerability to substance use/abuse, with case examples of trauma responses and survival strategies. There will be discussion about the nervous system impacts of trauma and substance use and what to look for in treatment.
